Route Description

Are you up for an unforgettable family adventure in the company of dwarves, fairies and forest animals? Are you sure that your family can easily defeat the main bandit roaming around the Enchanted Forest (“Začaran gozd”)?

We worked together like a true wolf pack and chased away the big bandit ;). True, it took some ingenuity, good will and a lot of courage. And family cooperation :).

Embark on a journey to the Enchanted Forest and, with the help of a booklet and other aids, solve puzzles and help the police catch the main bandit.

The Enchanted Forest Trail winds through the forest of the Hom Hill above the village of Zasip pri Bledu and is 2.2 km (1.36 miles) long. The walk through the woods takes about an hour and a half. However, it can happen that a dwarf disturbs you along the way or a fairy takes you as her cooking assistant. Then the adventure lasts longer. Forest animals and fairy-tale creatures live in the forest. And what worries them the most is a wanted bandit. No one knows what his name is… And you are the only one who can solve the riddle. If you manage to get to the end of the enchanted forest, you will discover the bandit’s name with solved tasks and hints and report it to the enchanted forest police.

For the trip, you need the Enchanted Forest backpack which contains a storybook, a wolf wooden bracelet and necklace, a felt wolf mask and the Enchanted Forest pen.

You can buy the backpack with all the necessary accessories at TIC (Tourist Information Center) Bled, TNP (Triglav National Park) Bled or at Kurej Restaurant (Zasip).

 “Rustika Pizzeria”

Did you know that kids can celebrate their birthday in the fantasy world of fairy tales and magical creatures of the Enchanted Forest? Cool, huh?

You are accompanied by one of the Enchanted Forest staff, who tells you an interesting story all the way from the starting point to the finish line. Each person in the group takes on a wolf-pack role. The birthday boy/girl gets a really cool wolf necklace as a gift. Good observation is crucial as children need to find every item from the forest hunt sheet. In the fairy kitchen, they learn the story of fairies and wolves who live in coexistence. Together they solve a photo comic and cook wolf soup. The children continue their way to the dwarves, who set traps for the forest bandit. They must deftly avoid them.
